Annual Spring Meeting May 2011 - Parksville, BC
The BC Surgical Society will be holding their spring meeting at the Tigh-Na-Mara Resort, Spa and Conference Centre in Parksville from May 5-7, 2011  If you have any questions, please contact Diane Wong at (604) 638-2843 or toll free at 1-800-665-2262, extension 2843.  Please note that this will not be a joint meeting with the Alberta Association, but everyone is welcome to attend.

 

Surgical Oncology Network Upper GI and Hepatobiliary Cancers Fall Update 
The BC Surgical Oncology Network will be hosting its Annual Fall Update on October 23, 2010 in at the Four Seasons Hotel in Vancouver, BC. This accredited, one day course will focus on the multidisciplinary approach to management of upper GI and hepatobiliary cancers. In addition to presenters from BC, the program will include visiting speakers, Dr. Carol Swallow, Surgical Oncologist, Princess Margaret Hospital, Toronto and Dr. Calvin Law, Surgical Oncologist at the University of Toronto's Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre. This conference is a must attend event for general surgeons and residents and would be of value to all the other related specialists.
